Hi,

I am listening and it looks like in the into he lets all the notes ring so you get "ghost" notes when he changes notes on the same string. That said it kinda sounds like this:

The notes in () are what I am calling ghost notes.

The second measure sounds like a E instead of G to start to me, and its easier to play the rest of the second measure on the G and B strings (at least it is for me.)

I'm not exactly sure what the guitar is doing at this point, but I think you can match what the whole band is doing better at the line "So she did what she wanted to" (and at the same spot in the other verses) if you play a B7 and Em instead of the D7b9 and C listed in Matt's tab. Like this:

And there wasn't anybody there to tell her what to do,
       B7           Em        A

So she did what she wanted to.


and

When he finally apologized she offered him some tea,

   B7          Em          A
He accepted it graciously.

and


Every Saturday they play until their fingertips are sore,
