Todd the T1000
|Todd the T1000|
|Release||Our Bodies, Ourselves, Our Cybernetic Arms|
|Release date||September 2005|
- The name "T-1000" is take-off of "T-1000," the villainous shape-shifting robot from Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
- The song (like all the tracks from Our Bodies, Ourselves, Our Cybernetic Arms) was written as a musical response to an article in Popular Science.
- "Todd the T1000" was one of the two songs (along with "Bacteria") that participants could use to make videos for the Machinima.com UK machinima contest in July 2008.
- "The XJ-9 that we used to call Jane" is a reference to the TV show My Life as a Teenage Robot, which starred a playful female named XJ-9 nicknamed "Jenny."
