RE: Chicago page- My apologies. I'm still not quite fluent in wiki, and by fixing the setlist I totally forgot all of the extra link formatting. I may have even screwed up this message formatting. Sorry about that. :( --fireworksordie 12:44, 5 May 2008 (CST)

Thank you!

    Percephene wants to thank you!!!

For general helpfulness and
diligent awesomeness in the field!

For always making every user here, on the forums and in the google groups feel welcome and a part of the community, and especially prompted by the pricing you listed for me on the Code Monkey 2 group of postage costs, above and beyond! <3 ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 06:42, 05 May 2008

I broke your page :( I fail. ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 06:44, 05 May 2008

Not so! :) --Bry 02:59, 5 May 2008 (EDT)
You are very welcome! All too often people go unsung when they work in the background to facilitate things and I like to give credit where it is due and it is definately due here :) I, too, love the community that thrives under this new model of stardom and the wonderful children of creativity it spawns, but we can't forget the administrators and facilitators of the world. Without them we wouldn't have the structures within which they grow! Sorry its a bit pink, I tend to do that ^_^
Don't be sorry, thanks for fixing it! ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 07:30, 05 May 2008

A banana for you![edit]

Really, all I do is use one person's code on another person's spot, but nonetheless this is to thank you and to test me modifying Percephene's code:

You're such a helpful
code monkey!

SockyBot[edit]

He's been bot'd, and bots have import rights now, so that should keep you happy. I'm wary about giving anyone else full admin rights, there's still a few things I can do here that nobody else can, muahaha!

(also, nobody ever send me thankyou cards :( ) --Lex (talk - contribs) 07:27, 8 May 2008 (EDT)

Song FlashMob[edit]

It's May 10th. Wake up and change the Song FlashMob suggestion list on the Main Page please. :) --MitchO 02:47, 10 May 2008 (EDT)

A quick note[edit]

Thanks

Thanks for helping me out! You've been following and commenting on everything that happens on the wiki, including the crazy little ideas that I dream up. Your recommendations and help have been invaluable, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for that. Keep up the great work!

Wesley

Kenesaw[edit]

I keep trying to go and fix it with your edits, and we keep crashing into each other. For the record, we've been calling Jonathan "Jonathan" on most pages where he's referenced more than once. "Coulton" sounds so cold. --MitchO 11:48, 20 May 2008 (EDT)

You made a small mistake with the naming of A Laptop Like You link. The actual link you wanted is [[A Laptop Like You (demo)]]. Would have changed it myself but front page is locked from editing. --BenS 06:32, 7 June 2008 (EDT)

I can do it! I can do it nine times! --Lex (talk - contribs) 08:05, 7 June 2008 (EDT)

capitalization[edit]

that's totally fine. in fact, if there's some way to decapitalize the name in the account that wouldn't take up too much of your time, please feel free. i don't know what got into me that i capitalized it when i was creating the account. --User:Three08

Archive Template[edit]

Hi! By adding {{Archive}} to a page you can now add this sexy template to it. I can spruce it up if needed, been a bit sick today.

Sweet Information!
This page is an archive and therefore cannot/should not be edited. Please ask a Moderator if you think a change should be made.

Enjoy! ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 03:16, 17 July 2008

JoCo Forums down?[edit]

Where was the emergency evacuation point again? Its so cold and lonely without them! ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 10:48, 27 July 2008

Well, you know where to go now, I presume, since the forums are back up, so I won't post this to your user page. But the emergency backup is accessible via Kerrin's JoCoPro website, http://jocovideo.com . --Bry 02:00, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
Ah thank you! I knew it was something like that, just couldn't recall the URL. Perhaps that should be in the FAQ (if it isn't already! I have read it before you frown at me, just haven't committed everything to memory :P ) ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 09:10, 28 July 2008
It is in the FAQ, yes -- but then, the FAQ itself is on the forums, which makes it rather difficult to use for this purpose. Not sure how to resolve this -- I'd put it on the wiki, but there's no logical place, and if the forums are down it's not unlikely the rest of the website, wiki and all, would be down too. I could also put it on my blog someplace, but then that's just another URL to remember. Hmm. --Bry 17:15, 28 July 2008 (EDT)
Haha true! Its like the old, "Oh no my internet is down, what's the ISP's number? Dunno, I'll just googl...doh!" But forewarned is forearmed I suppose. Those of us who know we truly couldn't cope without the forums should bookmark it now! ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 08:34, 29 July 2008

Show Page Template[edit]

Bry, I hear you are the man to ask about this template. What I would like doing to it is date added to it like in this one. Not sure if that is possible or not, let me know what you can do. Also not sure exactly what or how it does it but does it add the titles for setlist/encores/notes? If it does can you make sure they are formatted how I formatted all the show pages, if not can it? Sorry if this is a lot of work but these things are vital for my bot working if you tell me what you can/can't do (are willing to do, I have done some things without asking really) I can see what I can can't work around in the coding. Thanks for any help you will give in regards to this. --BenS 10:51, 9 August 2008 (EDT) ETA: Also can we change it from City to Location? So this can encompass the Second Life concert and universities etc. --BenS 12:25, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

Eff why eye, I totally did link to the correct page. I just messed up my HTML in doing so, causing the link not to appear. >.> --Lex (talk - contribs) 16:38, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

Curses![edit]

How did you see past my secret identity? Yeah, I discovered the wiki after I sent him that message on Twitter...although I was kind of hoping for a more specific answer than "music (duh)." Composition? Performance? Classical guitar? Bassoon? Anyway. Thanks for the welcome; I'm glad my intrusion did not seem presumptuous. I'm only sad that when all the pages are deleted, all my clever jokes about cover bands and erectile dysfunction will be gone forever. - Washboard Sal

Request[edit]

Hi, I'm Steven Smith, I'm a volunteer sysop over at the Celtx Wiki (wiki.celtx.com). I've been keeping vandalism away from there since late February, and their wiki now has almost no vandalism. In addition, thanks to the IP blocking that goes along with username blocking, there probably won't be any vandalism there ever again. (Maybe some kid might change it, but nothing like the huge scale advertising there used to be). I'd like to offer my services as Wiki Sysop to block vandals and revert vandalism. My user page on CeltxWiki ([1]) and User Contributions page ([2]) are my resume.

Thanks for your time.

Steven Smith (Blha303 12:56, 6 June 2011 (EDT))

P.S. I sent this message to Agent Lex and JoCo a few days ago, no response from them yet. I would email this, but you have no email address registered. I'm unsure whether or not moderators can set privilege levels, although I'm guessing not. I'm reposting this on MitchO's talk page as well.

Hi, sorry about causing a hassle with blanking those pages, I guess I kinda wanted to prove myself or something, I dunno :) I fixed the Celtx wiki by hand, but they're using a much older version of MediaWiki (and ignore my upgrade requests) so maybe there's an extra feature in the older version that helps there. I just block them for an infinite amount of time, and I guess it works better there than here. Thanks for the fast response also, I was about to get off and go to bed (1:30am here) when I saw your message. 'Night. Blha303 13:33, 6 June 2011 (EDT)

Sysyop[edit]

Hi, I'm relatively new here, but I was wondering if you would make me a sysop. I can help clean up the spam and block the users that spam. Also, I own the Weird Al wiki, so I know about wikis. The thing 10:16, 19 May 2012 (EDT)

spammity spam[edit]

yo! i wanted to point you in the direction of this discussion about the whole spam thing. i still think removing certain user rights would be very beneficial, but of course, only bureaucrats can do that and agent lex seems to be the only one of those, and also startlingly inactive. i assume there's some protocol to be used there. i think the CAPTCHA would definitely help too. right now it's kind of hard to navigate recent changes and while of course the spam is under control by the moderators, i think the best thing would be to prevent it, and all. anyway thank you for your time! -apollo (colloquia!) 16:35, 26 May 2012 (EDT)

Thank you so much...[edit]

...for making me a moderator! Spam will be so much easier to combat now! :D AirCon 09:10, 17 March 2013 (EDT)
