I have no idea how important it is to the bot if you got those namespaces the right way around in jocopedia_family.py, but... that's exactly the way they currently are. Good guess :P

I'll be sure to let you know which namespaces are where if any more crop up. Or perhaps somewhere a "vital information for bots" page, which includes that and other information. --Lex (talk - contribs) 10:54, 6 May 2008 (EDT)

ETA: Incidentally, I did upgrade from 1.12.0rc1 to plain ol' 1.12.0, but for some reason that's not showing up on Special:Version. Strange. Not that it matters much, I gather that there were no changes between the two versions anyway. --Lex (talk - contribs) 10:58, 6 May 2008 (EDT)

Currently, the bot will take any page starting with DATE_ (in any namespace) and replace it with...well, nothing. And then it'll put TDiJC: on the front of it. But anyway, you're just working on only the pages in filelist.txt. (Besides, it reduces server load when you tell it exactly which pages to work on :P)

According to something I read in the wiki, version numbers are nearly never important. I bet it's just there to weed out people using ancient versions of Mediawiki. — Wesley | 19:58, 6 May 2008 (EDT)
