So what's this whole "IRC" thing?

• IRC, short for Internet Relay Chat, is a text-based messaging service. Our IRC channel is a way for JoCopedia users to collaborate without directly editing, or just to discuss JoCo in general! #JoCopedia is located on the Rizon network.
• You'll need some sort of client to use IRC, although a webchat extension is planned to be implemented later. If you have a client such as HexChat or ChatZilla, you can just click the picture of JoCo to access the channel. If you do not have a client, use an embedded client such as those on the Rizon website or Mibbit.

Things to note

• SgtRock is #JoCopedia's bot. He can assign rankings and autokick users, but he is not a real person (and we promise he won't spy on you).
• Rankings in #JoCopedia are as follows:

• Owner (~)
• Operator (@)
• Half-operator (%)
• Voice (+)
• User

General rules

• It is perfectly fine for the topic of discussion to move away from JoCo, as long as that topic is herpetology. (That was a joke. Ha-ha. Fat chance.) In all seriousness, however, discussion on any topic, even outside this wiki, is permitted.
• Please do not spam the channel.
• Please do not be rude to other users.
• Please do not bug administrators or moderators over trivial issues. It's ok to ask for help or opinions, just don't try to be intentionally irritating.
• Please avoid excessive profanity.
• Please do not use the channel to personally harass other users.
