Darin Strauss (born March 1, 1970) is an American writer and college professor based in Brooklyn, NY. He was a member of Jonathan Coulton's old band Supergroup, and performed the guitar solo for the song De-Evolving.

He invited Jonathan to perform at his June 23rd, 2008 book reading for his latest book, More Than It Hurts You, where Darin joined Jonathan on Slip Slidin' Away and Sweet Caroline.
