I will take a stab at this based on the concert vids I've seen. First off, it seems like he's playing standard (high G) tuning. I changed both my tenor and soprano ukes over to low G tuning to learn "Still Alive" (and low G just makes more sense for a guitarist like me) but it looks like I've gotta change it back... and you can't just tune a low G to a high G without breaking strings, so I'll have to track down a new (Nylgut of course!) string set... I may already have some in my voluminous "string library" but we'll see...
