I will take a stab at this based on the concert vids I've seen. First off, it seems like he's playing standard (high G) tuning. I changed both my tenor and soprano ukes over to low G tuning to learn "Still Alive" (and low G just makes more sense for a guitarist like me) but it looks like I've gotta change it back. You can't just tune a low G to a high G without breaking strings, so I'll have to track down a suitable string. I may already have something that will work in my voluminous "string library" (those of you who have seen my little home studio in person know I'm not actually kidding...)
