"Flickr" is a song on Jonathan Coulton's fifth album, Thing a Week Two. It makes full use of the Creative Commons license that Jonathan uses to release all of his music.
History[edit]
"Flickr" was released as the fourteenth Thing a Week, on December 22nd, 2005. It was written for a video comprising of the song playing over a slideshow of photos. All the photos were published on Flickr with Creative Commons licenses that allowed Jonathan to use them in this (also Creative Commons licensed) work without obtaining special permission.
Live performance[edit]
"Flickr" is occasionally played at Jonathan Coulton concerts. Jonathan will usually play it any location than can support playing the video on a large screen.
