This is a list of recommended posts for the week from Sunday, July 6, 2008, to Saturday, July 12, 2008. The point of this list is to give newcomers a quick way to grasp what's going on in the forums, as well as to create a mechanism for feedback on forum contributions.
Ground rules:
- Every week, we'll do some kind of summary post in the forums, to round up the results from these recommendations.
- A nomination and two supporting votes will guarantee a post or thread makes it into the summary. (Those numbers may change.)
- Obviously, no nominating or supporting your own posts.
- Be sure to include:
- A link to the relevant post or thread.
- The name of the forum member who made the post.
- A quote or descriptor to make it clear what the substance of the post or thread was.
- Your own name, and whether you're nominating or supporting.
For instance, to nominate Percephene's pictures of Code Monkey 2, I type this:
Ceridwyn / Percephene's pictures of Code Monkey 2 touring Christchurch, New Zealand. [http://www.jonathancoulton.com/forums/comments.php?DiscussionID=573&page=1#Item_24] * Nominated --~~~~
