This week, it was trouble, honestly. It was like Friday afternoon, I didn't have anything. I had nothing at all. And then I was like, "Ah, screw it! I'll just go play tennis. There won't be a thing a week this week." Then, this idea came to me. This guy, this guy, singing about pizza day, but very sad. You may have noticed most of the stuff that I do is about someone who is sad. I don't know why that is. But then I was, I was sort of, taking this melody that I had, from a song that was originally a- It was, originally going to be a love song to Dana Scully. That was back in my youth when I was in love with Dana Scully. I'm not in love with her anymore. The show is canceled after all, so nothing to love. And yeah, I just, sort of, threw it together in a, in a few hours and I think, I think it shows. Cause', it's short and not very good. (laughs) That's what I have to say about that. |

Len, Nora, this is Jonathan Coulton, calling to talk about my song Pizza Day. Now. This week, it was trouble, honestly. It was like Friday afternoon, I didn't have anything. I had nothing at all.
