My dear friends Len and Nora, this is Jonathan Coulton calling. And I wanted to talk to you today about a little song I wrote called Make You Cry. This is one of those weeks. Where it really, started with the music. And for a long time, I was just playing this like, this guitar thing that I liked a lot and just couldn't, couldn't stop playing. Sort of an OCD thing. And I had no idea what it was going to be about. And I eventually I think I settled on a bad break up song, which is, you know, kind of what I do best when I'm when I've got no other ideas. But, although I guess it's not *really* a break-up song, it's more of a kind of an evil get-together song. This guy's a- he doesn't sound like a very nice guy. Or maybe, maybe... he's not at his best. I suppose cause' he's been hurt. Or something, I don't know. You can be charitable if you want to say that.
