In 2010, Jonathan Coulton announced that he would be hosting a fan cruise. In a nod to his song Tom Cruise Crazy, the inaugural 6-day Caribbean cruise was dubbed "JoCo Cruise Crazy".
JoCo Cruise Crazy sailed January 2-8, 2011 aboard Holland America's MS Eurodam. It was deemed such a success by the performers and attendees that work quickly began on organizing a sequel. JoCo Cruise Crazy 2 was announced in April 2011, and will sail February 19-26, 2012.
