Since those images are really placeholders, all those pages don't have real images yet. Pick one and check to see if Len's got a VTAW drawn for it, or find another appropriate image, if one's out there. (Confirmed no proper VTAW for the rest, though some have other images theoretically available. Skullcrusher Mountain has a non-VTAW image from Len, but it's not CC licensed. Time Zone(April 28, 2008)

All due respect to our illustrious overlord, I mean protector ... but shouldn't the JoCo Wiki be on the same time zone as JoCo? I noticed that we appear to be on GMT. I would think the bulk of the users are going to be American. Sorry Lex, but it's true :) --MitchO 15:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

• • What other pages should be attached to each song (just duplicate the ones from the song details pages? User-submitted content like videos, etc., would be good; the They Might Be Giants wiki has an "Interpretations" page for every song, but JoCo lyrics don't tend to be obscure in the same way, so maybe that's not as necessary. A "Downloads" page?)
• Add templates for album, shows, possibly lyrics and tabs

These have been added, at least the ones I can think of.

• Add all manner of content (as suggested above, figuring out how to standardize the pages should probably come first).

• A chronology? List of events, album/song dates, concerts, and so on, so that if people think "I went to such-and-such a concert, when was that?" there's a quick place to go to find out. See This Day in JoCo --Agent Lex 20:41, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
• Some set of links to items that are related as inspirations to the songs, like wikipedia pages on George Plimpton and Benoit Mandelbrot and so on.

Mason:

• Page Titles (ie - the one that appears in the title bar of your browser, dont have "Jonathan Coulton" in them - which they should as it will help with google search etc. finding these pages when people search for jonathan coulton.
  • Adding these would be a real pain at this point, since we'd have to change the name of the wiki from JoCopedia to something like "Jonathan Coulton wiki". The Jonathan Coulton page should still come up, and of course any page with the words "Jonathan Coulton" in. --Agent Lex 13:07, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Could we, however, include a tagline or a slogan or something that includes the words "Jonathan Coulton" on every page, like the line at the bottom of every Wikipedia article, "Wikipedia® is a registered trademark of the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) tax-deductible nonprofit charity"? It very much appears as though Wikipedia's "name", at least internally, is "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" -- which means that it appears in the title bar of each page, and every article page has "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" on it. Would it be possible to call this something like "JoCopedia, the Jonathan Coulton wiki" or something? --Bry 23:36, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

• Is there a way to keep track of how many times a song was played in concert? My guess would be count the number of pages in the Category:Shows that link back to a Category:Song page. If we set up a flag on the Show that indicated a full Setlist was there, we could even come up with a percentage of times that song was played in concert! The stat geek in me is interested, but I'm wondering if other people would be as well, and whether or not it's something we can do. • Write a little on the VTAW for Drinking With You, explaining the Jim-Pam reference (from the US "Office") and perhaps linking to the Coultonblog post in which JoCo unveils the VTAW and criticizes the US "Office", as well as the subsequent Coultonblog post in which he discovers that Jenna "Pam" Fischer put "Re Your Brains" on her MySpace (as well as Len's excitement when he discovers that she may have seen his illustration).
