Jonathan Coulton is a musician, singer-songwriter and internet superstar.

He was born on the first of December, 1970.

He graduated with a BA from Yale University in 1992. While attending Yale he was a member of the Whiffenpoofs, the oldest collegiate a capella singing group in the United States. During this time he also met fellow student John Hodgman whom he would go on to collaborate with on several projects.

In the fall of 2005, Coulton quit his job as a software designer to become a full-time musician. His previous jobs include temping at William Morris, assistant at a record label and "coffee slinger" at Cooper's Coffee.

Now affectionately known as JoCo by his growing legion of fans, he is married and resides in Brooklyn, NY.
