Background
This 'album' was commissioned by Popular Science as a soundtrack for the September 2005 issue on the future of the body. Each song was intended to go with an article in the magazine.
The songs were written over a 5 week period in July, 2005 [1], a sort of precursor for the Thing A Week format. They were recorded by July 31, 2005 [2], and posted on the Popular Science website the next day [3].

The album is still available for download, but was never available as a CD.
