Our Bodies, Ourselves, Our Cybernetic Arms is an EP by Jonathan Coulton. The EP was written as a musical accompaniment to a 2005 issue of Popular Science.
History[edit]
This set of songs was commissioned by the magazine Popular Science as a soundtrack for the September 2005 issue on the future of the body. Each song was intended to go with an article in the magazine.
The five songs were written over a five-week period in July, 2005,[1] a sort of precursor for the Thing a Week format. They were recorded by July 31, 2005,[2] and posted on the Popular Science website the next day.[3]
Availability[edit]
The EP is still available for download from the Download Store, though it was never released as a CD or in any other physical format. Popular Science offered a piece of printable cover artwork, which could be inserted into a plastic jewel case; however, the cover is only available at 72DPI.
