My oldest child decedid to celebrate 30 days of a funcioning garage door since the last time she had broken the garage door by, you guessed it, breaking the garage door. The best part was she did it at about 7 PM on a week night. I called Spectrum immediately. They were in a meeting, but he took call and very generously agreed to come out that evening after the meeting (about 9:30PM) and fix the door. This was a lifesaver as my garage door was hanging in the up position, meaning that I could not secure the items in my garage overnight. The repairman showed up on time, fixed my garage door in about 40 minutes and improved my door so that even my children should not easily be able to break it again, without going out of their way. I highly recommend Spectrum Overhead. Their customer service and pricing can't be beat. And I know; I've had to use them twice in the last month!

{{#song:Overhead }}

"Overhead" is a song on Jonathan Coulton's first album, Smoking Monkey.

Trivia[edit]

  • According to the Smoking Monkey info page, Jonathan says "Overhead" "might be my favorite unappreciated B-side."
  • According to longtime JoCo fan and friend awryone, this song has no overarching narrative meaning, other than Jonathan liking puzzles: "Our friend Adam Sachs, blogger of note, coined the phrase, 'Once in a while, I go out of my way, to kill you, a little.' Jon thought it was great, and wrote a song around it. Like a challenge. That's it."

Live Performance[edit]

"Overhead" was chosen by a group of Jonathan's fans on Twitter to be played at a concert at the Lula Lounge in Toronto, Ontario on April 23, 2009 (link), with the intention of forcing Jonathan to play a song he had never played live previously. Before he played the song in Toronto, however, he told the audience that he had played "Overhead" live many years ago but was unsure if it counted because "the audience was probably my wife, four of my friends, and one guy who was there by accident".
