Pretty good wstiebe!  Looks fine on my comp, but my screen is 1440 900 (quite large, I know)I agree that you may want to work on your nav bar a bit, spruce it up, but other than that, you've got a nice, clean layout.

"Resolutions" is a song on Jonathan Coulton's fifth album, Thing a Week Two.

History[edit]

"Resolutions" was released as the fifteenth Thing a Week on December 30th, 2005, in honor of New Year's Day 2006. The "lyrics" are a list of "20 Healthy New Year's Resolutions for Kids" from the American Academy of Pediatrics. The music is a variation of Auld Lang Syne.

Live performance[edit]

"Resolutions" is believed to have never been played at a Jonathan Coulton concert. Given the sampled nature of the song, it is unlikely that it will be performed.

Trivia[edit]

  • According to Jonathan's blog entry for the song, instruments played in this song include the dobro and a toy piano belonging to his daughter (presumably the same one later used in The Presidents).
  • The main theme used in the tune is a slowed down slide guitar version of Auld Lang Syne

Availability[edit]

Downloads[edit]

"Resolutions" is currently only available for purchase in the Jonathan Coulton MP3 Store as an individual track or as part of Thing a Week II. Of course, this song is also included as part of the "Everything" playlist.

Downloadable FLAC versions of the above are available in the Jonathan Coulton FLAC Store.

CD[edit]

"Thing a Week II" is available for purchase as a CD here.
