{{#song:Sandwich }}

One of a series of short songs that Jonathan Coulton did as covers on Ze Frank's web video show. See Songs from Ze Frank's "The Show" for more details.

This song was written about a project carried out by Ze Frank called Earth Sandwich. The idea behind it was to get two slices of bread placed on opposite ends of the earth, thereby making the so-called Earth Sandwich. He introduced the project (and song) on May 16, 2006 and the Earth sandwich was completed by June 12, 2006.

Jonathan Coulton's cover version appeared on May 8, 2007. He sang and played guitar on the song, while Ze Frank stood next to him and pretended to sing and play a different guitar. Frank then spoke the last word of the song when it appeared Coulton might not say it.

Trivia[edit]

  • The original name was "If the Earth were a Sandwich".
