"Social History Theme" holds the distinction of appearing at and later being removed from jonathancoulton.com.
Archive.org shows that it appeared in the downloads section some time before December 9, 2003, and disappeared from the downloads section with the appearance of the online store on Febuary 21, 2006.
As might be expected, it was written to be the theme song to a TV show called "Social History", which was to air on MTV. In an early version of the downloads page, Jonathan wrote "Listen to me try to make my voice sound dangerous."
