"Soft Rocked By Me" is a song on Jonathan Coulton's sixth album, Thing a Week Three.
History
"Soft Rocked By Me" was released as the thirty-fifth Thing a Week on June 6th, 2006.  Jonathan has said that as this song was written, he found the idea of "soft rocking" went from funny to creepy and sad.
Live Performance
"Soft Rocked By Me" is occasionally played at Jonathan Coulton concerts.  During performances co-billed with Paul and Storm, Jonathan performs "Soft Rocked By Me" with them.  Jonathan performs the lead vocals, accompanied by his guitar, while Paul and Storm join in on the chorus.  Occasionally, the three will break into a medley of actual soft rock hits, such as Hey Jude and Closing Time.  See the list of soft rock medley songs for a working list of songs included in the medleys. Later live performances of the songs dropped the third verse, ending the song instead with the soft rock medley.
