This seemed to require a bunch of editing, which I wanted to highlight here in case my additions were faux pas, especially adding the choruses.

  • Line 4: I'm pretty confident after several listens that the lyric is "wakes before the sun does," not "comes"
  • Next-to-last line, 2nd verse: "Got to keep the Canadians down" - "Got the" is pretty clearly a typo
  • Last line: "That's why..." rather than "because..."
  • The choruses and first verse reprise were absent, so I added them.

As with all the lyrics changes, i think it's going to be a matter of confidence. Without sitting and listening intently, I'd agree right off the top of my head on the first, second and last changes. I'd have to listen to the last line of the song, but it seems like something that couldn't be misheard by you. If you think it's the correct edit, I'd tend to agree. --MitchO 10:07, 30 April 2008 (EDT)
Concur that what's sung is "because", at least to my ears. How are we formatting backing vocals? Are we putting them in parentheses -- "Curl (curl, come on, baby, put the rock in the house)" -- or what? --Bry 10:40, 30 April 2008 (EDT)
That's what I do with backing vocals, just put them in parentheses to the side. ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 09:03, 13 May 2008
I'm going to make it so (and de-RFC this). --Bry 22:04, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
