"Felicia Day sang the lead vocals for Still Alive, marking only the second time that someone other than Jonathan has sang one of his songs at a Jonathan Coulton concert." - I'm gonna dispute thi[[--MESSAGE REDACTED--]] --Lex (talk - contribs) 20:24, 30 August 2008 (EDT)

Uh, I have no idea where you're going with this. --MitchO 00:09, 31 August 2008 (EDT)
I was trying to make the point that many, many people have been invited on stage to say "message redacted". It's more of a niggle than an actual objection, but it caught my attention. --Lex (talk - contribs) 06:14, 31 August 2008 (EDT)
What I think the important word here is LEAD, the people who sing "MESSAGE REDACTED" sing backup vocals if you can call them that. P&S sing more vocals than the message redacted guys. If you can find that the fact is untrue then fair enough but in terms of message redacted guys no win. Actually thinking about it he had an arrangement in the Whiffenpoofs that got sung, the song was by him. I think someone else may have sung lead. If we want to be certain the fact is correct then we need to change the wording. --BenS 09:46, 31 August 2008 (EDT)

Still Alive vids[edit]

There are A LOT of vids of the Still Alive perf on YouTube and elsewhere. Most of them suck (obstructed/distant view, cameraperson so giddy with geek fan excitement that the camera shakes A LOT, etc.) I humbly suggest that the four there now are adequate. #2 is the best - has the intro, good position, good sound.

We had a similiar issue with the NYC show ... as many as 6 or 7 videos of a song. We never came to a decision about a moratorium, but personally I think three is the magic number. --MitchO 16:18, 3 September 2008 (EDT)
For the record, I agree with the Rule of Three. I think there should be an official policy on this, though then it comes down to which 3? --Lex (talk - contribs) 17:50, 5 September 2008 (EDT)

Setlist[edit]

Does this mean we have the setlist complete and in order now? He really started with Ikea? --MitchO 16:18, 3 September 2008 (EDT)

Answered my own question, thanks to the person who went and posted the entire concert as one playlist on YouTube (yay!) -MitchO 11:33, 4 September 2008 (EDT)
Follow up note, I removed the playlist as a seperate link since every video is linked per song, and anyone interested would find them there, and there are more than enough links on this page anyway. Opinions? --MitchO 21:37, 4 September 2008 (EDT)
I wouldn't mind a link to the entire concert. Would be nice to sit back and listen to the whole thing with one click (especially if the browser needs to be minimized.)
I didn't think a playlist worked like that? I know when I was there I still clicked on each video. --MitchO 18:21, 5 September 2008 (EDT)
