Real quick comment -- how does everyone feel about linking directly to the free MP3 (as done on this page)? On one hand, it's the same link available on the Store page; on the other hand, free songs are meant as a loss leader to get people to visit the store (and besides, we could also link directly to the easily-accessible free versions of all the TAWs -- and others, but the TAW download links are actually available in blogposts). --Bry 01:42, 1 May 2008 (EDT)

For now, I don't think we should link directly to the song. For one thing, people can click on the "____ in the JoCo Store" link to find the free download. When they do so, they see that buying the song is an option given equal importance, and may choose to do so to support Jonathan. For another thing, if we decide to include direct links, we should have it somewhere out of the way, such as in the SongDetails box. Finally, I think having the "available for free download" information is valuable trivia; maybe we should phrase it as, On the Jonathan Coulton Store, you can find "When You Go" as a free download in addition to it being available for purchase.Wesley | 05:29, 1 May 2008 (EDT)
I'm going to adopt this proposal and de-RFC this, which doesn't mean I wouldn't be interested to hear your opinions. --Bry 09:58, 1 May 2008 (EDT)
