Trivia
- 48th Thing a Week, released Aug 31, 2006.
- The song was inspired with JoCo's own experience with unusually loud thunder.
- Len's Visual Thing a Week for this song shows JoCo in Pennsylvania, where JoCo actually heard the big boom of thunder.
JoCo on the Song
JoCo's blog entry about this song:
At first this was about a loud boom that led to nothing, but it didn’t take long before I realized it would be better if it was about a loud boom that really did signify the end of the world. The Big Boom. And then I changed Philadelphia to Michigan because there are too many syllables in Philadelphia. The rest of it writes and records and mixes itself! [1]
Availability
Available in MP3 and FLAC format in the JoCo store and on the Thing a Week Four CD.
