Welcome!

Hi, BenS, and welcome to JoCopedia! Thanks heaps for your contributions thus far! We really hope you like the place and decide to stay!

If you're new to wikis you might find the following "new-user" links helpful. Even if you are familiar with other wikis, each one is different, so please have a brief look at some point.

Once you are done there, or if you are a seasoned wiki editor, then jump straight into these:

  • WikiProjects - What we are currently focusing on around the site.
  • The "To Do" Lists - Two lists of jobs around the site that need doing, one of quick jobs and one of larger tasks.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a contributor! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, really do feel free to ask me on my talk page (that's what it's there for!), ask at the main page discussion, or ask a moderator on the moderators' talk page, we promise they don't bite...much! ;)

Again, welcome!  ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 12:14, 16 May 2008

Knorah

Was apparently a one time joke. Look at the front page of Jawbone Radio: http://jawboneradio.blogspot.com/ It's spelled "Nora" there. --MitchO 18:33, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

Yeah, that's what we decided a few weeks ago at Talk:Podsafe Christmas Song. --Bry 10:05, 26 May 2008 (EDT)
Techincally though Mitch, on the front page of Jawbone Radio, under Contributors, its still spelled "Knorah." But yeah ;) ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 03:09, 27 May 2008
That's contributors bit is on every page of the website. That is how i got it wrong. --BenS 14:02, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

Forum Link

Yeah, thanks Ben. The forward slash instead of question mark was one of my many attempts to figure out what it didn't like. I guess policy is now unofficially/officially forum links are external. Thanks again. --MitchO 11:46, 22 June 2008 (EDT)

Hey, Ben, just wanted to drop you a note to say you've been doing a great job keeping up with the press coverage (and finding old ones, too). Thanks so much! (And you may want to check out Wikipedia:Jonathan Coulton for a couple more interviews at the bottom, I think.) Also, thanks for running Code Monkey 2 -- I really love seeing things like this take off, and as you know, sometimes all it takes is one person willing to start pushing. I'm really impressed and grateful for all of it. Nicely done, and keep up the good work! --Bry 18:05, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

Shows template

I wish Lex had linked you to the relevant template, which is this one. (Kidding, Lex!) Take a look and edit whatever you like.

(Basically, to be clear: Add a Show uses templates User:Bry/Shows template helper and User:Bry/Shows template. Everything you need to edit should be in there.)

I'm on board with the suggestions of "Location" instead of "City" and adding a "Date", as long as it helps the bot. --Bry 14:09, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

Thanks

I've been singing your praises on the forum thread, but I just wanted to make sure to give you public acknowledgement here on JoCopedia as well. The SongStats section is a great success, and it is pretty much singlehandedly because of your hard work.
