I've been doing a lot of the cleaning/organizing of the shows pages, and my "process order" has been create the page ("City, State: Year-Mo-Day). You make sure to add the equal, equal "City, State" equal, equal title:

Walla Walla, WA

and then add to the calendar, adding a REDIRECT to that page. If you really want to get nutty, you can then add it to "This Day In JoCo" also.
