Hey, Mitch, great work on the shows pages and with all the lyrics / tabs -- kinda brutal work, I know, but you can definitely take credit for taking us through most of the way to preparedness. Thanks, man! (PS: Have you checked your forum private messages?) --[[User:Bry|Bry]] 15:49, 5 April 2008 (EDT)

Let's make you a test case then ;) First of all, I gotta make sure you know the [[JoCopedia:Editing guidelines|editing guidelines]] so... go read those! Especially the songs and shows subpages. Seriously. The main jobs of the moderators will be to delete vandalism and uphold standards, so it's important you know exactly how the templates and calendar work. Get back to me once you're sure you've got it, or just hit me up again if you've got any questions :) --[[User:Agent Lex|Agent Lex]] <small>([[User talk:Agent Lex|talk]] - [[Special:Contributions/Agent Lex|contribs]])</small> 15:39, 7 April 2008 (EDT)

Thanks for the kind words of welcome MitchO! So, a couple of questions:
 +
1. What is the best place to have discussions? I was going to respond to your entry on my Talk page, but I wasn't sure if you would see my response.
 +
2. I can add some info to my entry, but what kind of information do people want to see?

In case you missed it, I've "nominated" you [http://www.jonathancoulton.com/forums/comments.php?DiscussionID=540&page=8#Item_18 in the forum] to take charge of [[WikiProject:Shows]]. That wikiproject doesn't exist yet, but you're already doing most of the duties related to it, so I figured it might be nice to make it official. Interested? --[[User:Bry|Bry]] 18:07, 17 April 2008 (EDT)

I don't doubt that there is / was an actual Buckingham Square Mall somewhere in Connecticut, but it isn't / wasn't in Aurora, Connecticut, for several reasons, particularly that there is no Aurora, Connecticut. The [http://www.ecoupons.com/malls/Connecticut/Buckingham-Square Google search result] that lists a Buckingham Square Mall in Aurora, Connecticut, includes the ZIP code 80012 -- which is the ZIP of Aurora, Colorado. --[[User:Bry|Bry]] 16:01, 24 November 2008 (EST)

Hi,
 +
I'm Steven Smith, I'm a volunteer sysop over at the Celtx Wiki ([http://wiki.celtx.com wiki.celtx.com]). I've been keeping vandalism away from there since late February, and their wiki now has almost no vandalism. In addition, thanks to the IP blocking that goes along with username blocking, there probably won't be any vandalism there ever again. (Maybe some kid might change it, but nothing like the huge scale advertising there used to be).
 +
I'd like to offer my services as Wiki Sysop to block vandals and revert vandalism. My user page on CeltxWiki ([http://wiki.celtx.com/index.php?title=User:Blha303]) and User Contributions page ([http://wiki.celtx.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Blha303]) are my resume.

Mitch: Excellent work with [[WikiProject:Themes]]! That's exactly what I was hoping would happen, but I hadn't gotten around to working out how to do it yet. Very impressed. (And I've just left this note on [[User talk:Agent Lex|Lex's talk page]], but what would you think about having a "Talk:Mods" or something? The three of us could all add it to our watchlists, and it might be an easier way a) to communicate among all of us b) to let people ask for help from a mod without directing it at a specific mod.) --[[User:Bry|Bry]] 22:23, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

Thanks for your time.
:Hey, Mitch, care to add [[JoCopedia:Moderators]] to the ol' watch list? --[[User:Bry|Bry]] 23:36, 29 April 2008 (EDT)

(Thought I'd mention -- I think you accidentally added the [[Template:Welcome]] directly to [[User:Sompm]] instead of [[User talk:Sompm]], and also I think we're using '''<nowiki>{{subst:Template:Welcome}}</nowiki>''' instead of just '''<nowiki>{{Template:Welcome}}</nowiki>''', so that all the text of the template is pasted in. I'll go clear the page and add the welcome text to Sompm's talk page.) --[[User:Bry|Bry]] 22:16, 3 May 2008 (EDT)

P.S. I sent this message to Agent Lex and JoCo a few days ago, no response from them yet. I would email this, but you have no email address registered. I'm unsure whether or not moderators can set privilege levels, although I'm guessing not. I'm reposting this on Bry's talk page as well.

I'm just going through each of the songs I have videos for and adding links to them on YouTube to that song's page.  I hope that's OK.

Hey, Mitch -- thanks for deleting my paragraph about cats 'n' such. I think I left that on the sandbox the first week or so that Lex put it up, and expected at the time it would all be scrubbed before the Pedia went live.  You've Mister Cleaned it!

Unfortunately, you have to have the plain <nowiki>[[Category:whatever]]</nowiki> for it to go in the category, and to list it you have to have the separate <nowiki>[[:Category:whatever|whatever]]</nowiki>. That's just the way MediaWiki works, I'm afraid. --[[User:Agent Lex|Lex]] <small>([[User talk:Agent Lex|talk]] - [[Special:Contributions/Agent Lex|contribs]])</small> 12:06, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

Request[edit]

Hi, I'm Steven Smith, I'm a volunteer sysop over at the Celtx Wiki (wiki.celtx.com). I'd like to offer my services as Wiki Sysop to block vandals and revert vandalism. My user page on CeltxWiki ([1]) and User Contributions page ([2]) are my resume.

Thanks for your time.
