Votes for Deletion

Shortcut:
VFD

This page will house votes for deletion of pages which do not meet the agreed upon criteria for page standards (TBC).

Tasks

  • Create a criteria for what warrants deletion
  • Create a voting template that can be used for each nomination
  • Create a "This page has been nominated for deletion. Click here to vote" template for the page itself
  • Have an agreement between moderators on who will handle the deletions
  • Agree on how long each vote should be allowed to go for before a moderator decision is made
  • Agree that if users vote to keep but tidy up that those users have thereby agreed to work on the tidying or else the page will continue to fail deletion criteria or not...
  • Create a "This page was nommed for deletion but survived. Do not renom without good reason" template to put on the talkpage

Discussion on these topics will be held on this page's discussion page.

Keep Delete

  • Delete - it seems obvious to me this was a one-off. This information could probably go in the individual show page. --Lex (talk - contribs) 19:25, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
  • Delete - I was willing to go along with the general consensus to wait and see whether it happened again, but I've been for deleting it from the start (or at least making it something other than a WikiProject, which I understand as something pertinent to wiki maintenance, e.g. lyrics and Song of the Day). --Bry 19:28, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
  • Delete - I agree. Make it a page sure, just not WikiProject. Although I'd be interested to see the results! ~ Percephene ~ talk contribs 11:44, 08 May 2008
  • Delete- Unfortunately, I agree. I was really hoping he'd hold up to the "let's do this and make the Wiki guys keep track" thing, but it appears to be a one time joke. --MitchO 23:55, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
